Stoning & Crying of the Devil

Stoning of the Devil is the part of annual Islamic. Hajj pilgrim to the holy city of Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Pebbles are thrown on 3 walls known as Jamarat by Muslim Pilgrims in the city of Mina. It is one of the important parts of Hajj Packages to be performed. It is a symbolic reenactment of Prophet Ibrahim’s Hajj, where he stoned the approaching devil. Trying to stop him from sacrificing his only son Prophet Ismael and to go against Allah.

On Eid al-Adha, Seven pebbles are to be strike on 1 large Jamrah by each pilgrim. After the completion of the ritual, every pilgrim must shave or trim their hair. Same with other two following days, pilgrims are to strike the remaining 2 Jamrah with 7 peddle. While moving in old fashioned way (east to west). Total of 49 peddles are needed to complete the full ritual including all 3 days, though if any pilgrim misses a strike, they have to repeat the process until they strike all three Jamrah. The pebbles for stoning are gathered at Muzdalifah, a plain area southeast of Mina, on the night before the 1st throwing, theses stoning pebbles can also be collected from Mina.

Stoning & Crying of the Devil

During the Cheap Hajj package and while the ritual of Jamrah is in process the Devil cries with every stone thrown at him, it is that time when he is founded guilty of disobeying Allah and acted upon his own superstitious, the stoning moment is one of those moments when the Devil realizes that he will perish for eternity and will remain a Fallen Angel. The Devil will keep on perishing for his misdeeds for Allah and will be kept in the hell. During the Hajj all the Fallen Angels and the Devil are banished to Hell and are forbidden to escape out of Hell.
